Margaret Corridan, Associate
Margaret started her working life as an Electronic Engineering Apprentice with Thorn EMI. When qualified she went on to work in research and development of sea and air radar equipment for the MOD. Since then she has qualified as Management Accountant through CIMA, published a book, Brilliant Personal Finances, commissioned by Prentice Hall and sold internationally, and obtained her Certificate in Post Compulsory Education (Cert Ed) teaching qualification through Greenwich University.
Margaret gained her commercial management and people management experience in various parts of the Coca Cola organisation, where she worked for 13 years. Her final role, Commercial finance manager for Coca-Cola GB, gave her extensive experience supporting marketing managers in their financial decision making and budget management. She also delivered the Finance for non Finance Manager training programme for the organisation in Great Britain.
Having briefly run an accounting practice, she now divides her time between delivering training workshops and providing a consulting service to small and medium size businesses needing to develop their management information systems.
Feedback from the delegates who have attended her courses and workshops confirm that her key skill is to take a subject like finance and make it relevant, understandable and even fun.
Her Mantra – Finance can be fun.
Margaret is a presenter, performer and educator.
