Kitty Martin
Kitty Martin balances her work as a professional actor by working with public and private sector organisations in the fields of personal development, learning and training. An experienced role player, facilitator and trainer, Kitty draws on her acting and improvisation skills during role plays and Forum Theatre events. She quickly absorbs character and scenario briefs and is highly proficient at recalling key issues, whilst in role. Her accurate recall enables specific and constructive feedback, directly related to the learning objectives. Sessions have often concluded with an improvised re-run, incorporating new ideas. Kitty also has expertise in extended role plays; creating a true-to-life simulation over several days and playing out in real time. Kitty is a versatile actor who specialises in playing multiple roles. In bespoke short plays, for conferences and events, she has played seven roles in twenty minutes.
As a Facilitator, Kitty has conducted client centred training at all levels of business; from Board level Directors and Partners through to Back Room Managers and Front
Line staff. She has guided and encouraged clients though group and self-directed exploration, to gain a deeper understanding of the learning issue and achieve results.
As a Trainer/Coach Kitty has helped people facing difficult and challenging situations. She has delivered Solution Focused Coaching, based on NLP principles, to facilitate
personal and career development for clients. In a safe environment she encourages clients to develop, rehearse and select options which enable them to take action
with confidence.
